Responsibilities

1. Lead 1 Associate Manager to prepare for Company standalone quarterly and annual JGAAP financial statements including footnotes
2. Lead 1 Associate Manager to prepare for Group consolidated IFRS financial statements including disclosures in compliance with 金商法
3. Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance under JGAAP and IFRS
4. Lead 1 Associate Manager to prepare quarterly corporate income tax reconciliations
5. Coordinate annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors
6. Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
7. Perform continuous assessment of the close process and process re-engineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period
8. Oversee/support month end and year end closing

Requirements

1. Over 3 years’ External Audit Experience with a Big 4 firm in Japan, with exposure to Japan listing or pre-IPO companies

2. Familiar with both reporting under JGAAP and IFRS

3. English literacy at business level and in accounting

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
