This role is responsible for all aspects of HR management for the Tokyo office and will play an important role in supporting the on-going development of a high-quality HR service based on regional and global strategy.
Main Responsibilities
- Give commercial and strategic support to Partners and Managers with employee relations issues
- Proactively drive and support local and global employee engagement initiatives
- Responsible for recruitment and on-boarding and off-boarding of employees
- Handling international mobility, secondment, work permit and visa arrangements
- Responsible for the management of the annual employee processes including salary review, bonus calculations and HR budgets
- Drive a strong feedback culture via the performance review process
- Responsible for data input and reporting from the global people management system, workday
- Management of employee benefits for the office in consultation with regional benefits manager
- Managing payroll and the day-to-day practical functions of a busy HR function
- Roll out and localisation of global and regional HR projects
Ideal Requirements
- Japan HR expertise, professional services an advantage, but not essential
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Native Japanese language skills
