Our partner is a logistics solutions provider with over 100 offices worldwide and more than 2000 employees, committed to providing the best service using the latest technology tools, and is looking to expand its team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promotes and sells company services through direct client contacts via multiple direct and indirect contact channels
- Develop a target list and initiate contact with potential clients
- Supports existing clients, acting as an intermediary for communication between client and their operations teams
- Facilitate the completion of RFQ’s.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES/ SKILLS
- 1 to 2 years experience with 3PL or freight forwarder including internal and external facing roles
- 1 to 2 years of previous experience in transportation or business development fields
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS
- Strong client-facing skills and effective selling to decision influencers and decision-makers with a consultative approach
- Strong computer usage skills, demonstrated capability with a suite of Microsoft office products, and active in broad-based internet networking tools, e.g. LinkedIn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness
