A leading international shipping company is seeking a Sales Manager! The role involves being responsible for the success of team sales activity with setting a right goal. Performance will be monitored periodically and lead sales activity for growth and its accomplishment. Through various information source and products, Sales Manager identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing a sales team.
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Help Sales rep to promote company group services and non-maritime products (e-commerce, Value Added Service, intermodal, Cross sell with Logistics provider company)
Performance follow up.
Participate in establishing the commercial actions plan and ensure the agency sales’ segmentation is correct and up to date. Control the load factor of vessels through the analysis of space booking and loading forecasts.
- Experience as a sales role in the shipping industry and managing a team.
Good communication skills in Japanese and English (both verbal and written, TOEIC 700).
Good business manner to face with senior level of customer organization.
Good interpersonal skills, sense of time management, responsiveness, and analytical skills to maintain a good company Brand recognition
Good presentation skill and preparing a material both for internal and external customer.
Accuracy of data management.
Advanced IT skill.
