A leading International Logistics company is looking for their  Business Development Director!

Responsibilities:

  • Expand and diversify the scope of business for specific clients, encompassing various facets such as supply chain optimization (inclusive of inventory management, production planning, and strategic location strategies) and the establishment of industry-specific platforms. This includes forging global partnerships and securing new clients within the supply chain domain.
  • Formulate comprehensive solution propositions for substantial, novel projects pertaining to clients under regional ownership. Additionally, provide valuable assistance in addressing escalated issues from the region. Effectively lead and guide subordinate team members in the strategic development of new business initiatives for the assigned clientele.
  • Take a pivotal role in formulating pioneering business proposals, collaborating closely with the Strategic Leadership Division (SLD) to capitalize on potential growth prospects.
  • Oversee the team's advancement in executing the action plan, gauging the attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) andassume responsibility for devising corrective strategies and guiding team members towards enhancements.
  • Establish and maintain an effective workflow structure within the team. Scrutinize task distribution and cultivate an enabling work environment conducive to optimal team performance. Furthermore, provide ongoing assessment, constructive feedback, and daily guidance to team members.
  • Display proactive leadership by forging essential collaborative frameworks across cross-functional teams and departments.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Knowledge to instruct BDin the theory and practice of SCM and its optimization.
  • Knowledge to instruct BDin structure, supply chain, business issues, and etc. of industry in charge.
  • Knowledge to instruct BDon the customer's overall business and supply chain.
  • Knowledge to instructBDabout practical CRM and CEM.
  • Knowledge to instruct logistics and trade practices such as warehousing, transportation, express and forwarding.
  • Knowledge to instructBDon financial statements (PL, BS, CF).
