We are excited to partner exclusively with our U.S. Consumer client to find a Consumer Insights Manager for Japan. This role is open due to rapid country expansion of new product lines into the Japan market. The position reports to a local senior manager and has a team of 3 people. Because of the quick expansion in Japan, this position could manage people in the future.
In short, this person will need to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinate with a multiple departments, including counterparts in the U.S.
The successful candidate will look to
- Design, execute, manage, report both quantitative & qualitative market research studies.
- Effectively communicate study results with Japanese cultural context, as a representative of Japanese consumers.
- Synthesize and track historical research results to build on effective strategies in each category.
- Plan any of new researches from the scratch which are necessary for our business.
Experience Requirements
The successful candidate can come from either client or agency side, but should bring to the table experience in hands-on market research, including quantitative custom research, specifically product & communication evaluation studies, as well as qualitative research experience.
