RESPONSIBILITIES
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Choose, educate, enhance, inspire, and oversee the performance of subordinates.
- Establish a plan for future leadership by cultivating talent and preparing for organizational objectives at both the functional and departmental levels.
SALES STRATEGY
- Identify possible accounts in a specific market segment.
- Sustain important accounts.
- Examine competitors' actions in the market and evaluate how they could affect the company.
- Develop and convey yearly sales strategies and bonus plans.
- Personally engage in negotiations with significant customers.
- Decide, allocate, and propose actions to uphold competitive advantages, aiming for successful market penetration and revenue generation.
SALES COMMUNICATION
- Facilitate effective communication channels between Sales and Operations to ensure employee coordination, keep them informed, and maintain their motivation.
- Foster strong relationships with major customers through ongoing high-level interactions.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT
- Engage in direct communication with top customers during emergency situations to ensure the continuation of quality service aligned with company plans and maximize revenue generation to achieve business objectives.
- Develop, implement, and adapt policies and procedures tailored to each country's operations within the realm of quality management.
BUDGET
- Analyze customer trends to determine future strategic approaches.
- Formulate regional business plans and regularly monitor sales performance within the region, reporting monthly variances from the plan to meet regional sales targets and overall business goals.
- Prepare and present the annual budget to top management, while maintaining control, monitoring, and providing regular reports on financial outcomes to align with budget plans.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.
Experience and Knowledge:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry.
- Demonstrated expertise and a track record in sales management.
- Comprehensive understanding of the import and export process in air and ocean freight forwarding.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
